About the Pay Scales Tool

The Pay Scales Tool allows you to view or compare pay scales for different fleets, seats, and schedules. This tool may be useful in order for you to understand your pay steps in the future, and to make more informed decisions about your career.

Select your fleet, seat, and schedule in the first dropdowns to get started. A pay scale table will be generated based on your selections. You can optionally enter your hire date to highlight your pay steps throughout the scale. If you are senior (>15 years), you can simply check the "Highlight Maximum Pay Scales" box to highlight the highest possible pay scales. If you want to see the exact date ranges which apply to each pay step or service year, check the "Show Date Ranges" box. Dates will only be shown if you have set a hire date or checked the maximum pay scale box.

When cells are highlighted based on a hire date or maximum service years, the blue cells show your steps through the pay scale. Green cells with bold text indicate the pay step which is effective today. Check the "Show Date Ranges" box to see the exact date ranges for each pay step and better understand the pay steps shown.

You can also compare pay scales between two different fleets, seats, or schedules by using the second set of dropdowns. The pay scales will be displayed side-by-side, along with the difference (Δ) between the two scales. The difference values are simple math between the two pay scale values, and are therefore annual values for the full pay scale year indicated. This information may be useful if you are considering upgrading (or downgrading) or a different schedule type, and you want to understand how your pay may be affected.
