About the Line Visualizer

The Line Visualizer allows you to select schedule lines in order to overlay them on a calendar and see which days are work days, and which days are off days. This can be useful for visually planning your schedule around certain days or dates. You can also select multiple schedule lines at once in order to compare schedules.

Work days are indicated by colored lines or squares on the calendar. Off days are indicated by white squares. Each schedule line has a distinct color. Once you select a schedule line button, the button will change color to help indicate which lines on the calendar represent which schedules.

You can select between 4 and 8 lines to compare at a time, depending on the Display Format setting. Select bigger display formats to compare more schedule lines at once. Schedule lines will be automatically deselected if you switch to a smaller display format and have selected too many schedule lines for that format.

The background colors of the calendar cards represent each schedule bid period, which start October 1, February 1, and June 1 each year.

Note that this tool does not allow you to view schedule transition seams, i.e. the nonstandard period between bids when you transition from an 8&6 schedule to a 7&7 schedule, or vice versa. Please see the Seam Visualizer to view seams between two schedules.
